Basic Concept
Our code of ethics states that “we observe rules and regulations and behave ourselves based on social rules and common sense”. Our basic policy is that we fulfill the corporate social responsibility and that each member of officers and employees makes effort to obtain the trust of all the people concerned.
Implementation System
- The board meeting is held regularly once a month and also when necessary. It makes decisions on important matters about the legal and management issues, and supervises the status of our business performance.
- In order to discuss our business policies, plans, and important business performance based on the basic policy decided by the board meeting, the business promotion meeting consisting of board members and department managers under observation of full-time auditors is held once or more a month.
- Internal audit office systematically conducts audits on the compliance with various internal regulations and business performance to all departments and related companies.
- We formulated the code of ethics and ethical behavior criteria in May 2002 and have made efforts for the appropriate operation and implementation since then. For the thorough implementation, we have established the Corporate Ethics Committee, having the president as its chairperson, and it holds meetings regularly to conduct daily check on the compliance with the regulations and provides status reports and advices to the board meeting.
